Emeline Lee

Emeline Lee is an author of children's literature. Her picture book, Bonnie's Rocket, illustrated by Alina Chau and published by Lee & Low Books, is a STEM-friendly story set during Apollo 11. Her next book, Gwei the Hungry Ghost (out on 1/13/26), is illustrated by Basia Tran and published by Kokila, an imprint of Penguin Young Readers. Emeline’s favorite activities include hiking in the woods, eating hot pot, and crocheting cozy things. She studied English literature and environmental sustainability at Columbia University and lives in the New York metropolitan area.
