Laurie Lascos

​​​Laurie is a Canadian High School English teacher with a love of all things children’s literature. She spent many years as a figure skating coach and was even employed at a Jumbo Video in her teens, where the free popcorn was the highest of perks. She delights in cake decorating, chocolate, and snuggling her cats. She has helped several authors in their development of teacher guides for their novels. She wishes her Macedonian father had taught her his language in her youth, but alas, he flat-out refused.
